A Few of my Favorite Quotes (part 1/?)

in #quotes6 years ago

Hello there everyone,

I'm going to share some of my favorite quotes here as they spring to mind. If nothing else, I find that the practice of chirography (typography in this case) helps me to absorb and embrace these philosophical musings.

"It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit." -Harry S. Truman

"In a gentle way, you can shake the world" -Mahatma Gandhi

"Some people feel the rain. Others just get wet." Bob Marley

"The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step." -Lao Tzu

"The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing" -Socrates

"It is in our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light" -Aristotle

"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." -Edmund Burke

And one of my personal quotes for good measure (harkens back to the Gandhi quote above):
"When the world is a resounding cacophony, the tacit speak loudest." -Seth Baca
