Closing cities for weeks isn't the best way to deal with the fourth wave: Umar Asad

Asad Umar, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, stated on Thursday that shutting down entire cities for weeks was not the answer to halting the disease's spread.

The coronavirus pandemic is in its fourth wave in Pakistan, with the number of illnesses and deaths gradually increasing across the country, but especially in Karachi and Sindh, where the provincial administration is reportedly considering a complete lockdown.
