Japan would rather have robots take care of their elderly than bring in nonJapanese immigrants. The US accepts immigrants from other nations far more but is deemed more racist

In light of the recent events in Charlottesville, VA, many commentators and pundits are targeting the US as a land of xenophobia and racial oppression without the slightest consideration for our long history of accepting both legal and illegal immigrants. Before I continue, I would first like to make clear that I am in no way in favor of white supremacy or white nationalism, and I also recommend reading my previous post titled "Why white people shouldn't be a white supremacists or a white nationalists" (link is on the bottom of the page).

The Japanese government has stated that the ideal strategy to care for their aging population and rapid demographic shift is to have robots be the caretakers for their elderly rather than allow nonJapanese immigrants to do it. In this manner, Japan is merely resuming their long tradition of not allowing other races to permanently move into their county. Japan is one of the most difficult nations it immigrate to out of the advance industrialized economies.

The US, in contrast, not only accepts immigrants from the vast majority of the world, but even granted the majority of illegal immigrants amnesty through President Barack Obama's 2014 Executive Order. While many on the left consider current President Trump to be the symbol of the patriarchal, white, male oppressor, I recommend that the reader take note of the fact that he never overturned Obama's Executive Order and that currently the illegal immigrants being deported are wanted for serious criminal charges. I don't see anything wrong with deporting someone who is in your nation illegally and has committed a serious crime on the level of felony or manslaughter. It's worthwhile to note that the United States is the only nation in world history to allow illegal immigrants amnesty. But very few will appreciate that even under Donald Trump's Presidency this hasn't been challenged.

Now compare our immigration laws and customs to another nation: Israel. Israel promulgates one of the most strict immigration laws in the US and insists on one basic rule for those moving into Israel: they must be Jewish. While moving to Israel is not on the top of many people in America's "to do list," it's important that we appreciate that the United States is far more likely to grant an immigrant from Israel citizenship into the United States than Israel is to grant citizenship of a nonJewish American planning on moving there.

In conclusion, I am merely asking the reader to look at the big picture when it comes to the question of how accepting the United States is to those that are considered nonwhite minorities. If you are a white person, it's best to appreciate how accepting the majority of whites have been to minorities in the 21st century, while understanding that many people on the left will be continuously angry at us regardless of what we do. Trust me, I know from experience.
