The rainy season in Bangladesh.

Hi friends! I hope you are well by grace of almighty.This is my first post in steemit.Today I will tell you about the rainy season in Bangladesh.

Bangladesh,a darling child of nature,has been blessed with six seasonss.Every season has its own characteristics
,beauty and color.The rainy season consists of the months of Ashar and Sravan. This season is caused by the monsoon.The south-west monsoon blows from the Bay of Bengal over our land.It brings much vapour and cause heavy rainfall in our country.
During this season the sky remains clouded.Sometimes it rains cats and dogs.Sometime it rains for days together.Fields go under water.Rivers,canals and ponds over flows their banks.It blows strong wind in this time.There are heavy showers,thunder and lightning too.
Bangladesh, being an agricultural country,depends on rain water.So, sufficient rain helps our farmers in many ways.Besides, rain water washes away the dirt and purifies the atmosphere.
The rainy season is not always blessing for us.In the rainy season peoples can't go out for work and it also damages our crops and properties.Different diseases like malaria, diarrhoea,dysentery break out in an epidemic form.
