Ernő Rubik, the inventor of the Rubik's Cube, took more than one month to solve his own invention. Rubik, who turns 72 on Wednesday, was a professor of architecture at the time and was working on creating models to explain 3D geometry. Earlier known as 'Magic Cube', the Cube is one of the most-sold toys of all time.
