This Site Is POINTLESS!!!!!!
I take great pride in what I write. And yet, I have only made a SHITTY $4 here!!!! I see a lot of other peoples work get credited and praised, but NOT ME!!! This is complete and utter bullshit!!! What's funny is that what I have seen from other people are posts that do NOT make sense whatsoever and yet, they make over $3,000 or more!!! How silly!!!
MY posts are informative, educational and serve a purpose for those who have the same interest has I do. So, why do I get so little upvotes, but someone else with several hundred?
If people are genuinely interested in what I have to say, then upvote MORE!!!
If read my posts, UPVOTE!!
And one more thing before I end this rant: I do NOT upvote unless I get upvoted. Plain and simple.
What's funny is that you complain about not being upvoted enough, and at the same time you state that you don't upvote except when you get upvoted. How can a platform possibly work with users who behave that way?
Apart from that, the sad truth is that in this world quality != popularity.
Why the fuck should I upvote if people don't upvote me? That is how I work! Deal!
You should upvote content that you find in some way valuable. That's how steem works.
You complain about people not upvoting you - but you refuse to upvote others. You could as well complain about people not sending you nice presents.
Your posts look interesting but they are ultra niche. They may be the kind of thing you can make money out of after the site has millions of users on board, so that every niche is catered for.
relax play the game repost the articles you think deserve more up-votes. you need to also check the time whales are online.
I see more bots on here than anything. For example, I keep getting spam comments from isaac.asimov. I was informed "he" was a bot.
Also, how do I repost my articles?
If you don't vote for the kind of content you value, then your content won't be viewed as valuable.
Congratulations @athenadruid! You received a personal award!
You can view your badges on your Steem Board and compare to others on the Steem Ranking
Vote for @Steemitboard as a witness to get one more award and increased upvotes!
logic, luke490 and pheonike- what I post has more value than some of the pointless shit I have seen on here. I've seen posts that don't even deserve to be upvoted. And how the hell am I supposed to get "rich" if people don't upvote my content? From what I have seen, THAT IS THE ONLY WAY!!!
Because you are not rich. This site is for rich people who can buy a lot of steem power and so attract votes to become even richer
If you want to get up votes from the "rich"(people with Steem power); you have to cater to them; "Spellcrafting Table of Correspondences" is not going to cut it. Not to say I am any better but if your goal is to actually earn money, you might want to make your posts about things that the "rich" like.
Did you ever stop to consider maybe there aren't several hundred people who have the same interest as you do? This site is new, I doubt there are a whole lot of people who want to upvote what you have to say.
You say this, but you're complaining about other people feeling and acting the same way.
I don't understand the point of not upvoting unless you get upvoted. I've literally given away about 100 upvotes in my three posts where I ask people for comments. I'm trying to help the community get more involved and active. This platform by its very nature is philanthropic, but saying you won't upvote anyone else unless you get upvoted is the complete opposite of that. That could be a good reason you don't get many upvotes.
I checked your posts. The majority of them are about Wicca, for which there is apparently no demand for on Steemit. Your problem is not the quality of your content but rather that there is nothing of value to be gained from your posts. Now, if there was a community of Wiccans on Steemit, you would likely have a great corner on the niche market but the simple fact is you obviously have no clue how to recognize a supply-and-demand relationship. There is no demand for your articles, it's simple as that. I, for example, enjoyed reading them, but why should I upvote something that I didn't really get anything out of? Give it some time, and wait for the community to grow. We just don't have enough users yet to really entertain niche articles. Better yet, get some Wiccans on the site and direct them to your profile. THAT is good content marketing.
