Wiz Khalifa is one of many artist trying to jumpstart the summer. True Wiz fans are in for a special treat this weekend with his Pre-Rolleds EP.. After PARTYNEXTDOOR and Yo Gotti, it’s now time for Wiz Khalifa to join in the fun of surprise releases. Wiz took to Soundcloud late Friday night to drop the EP.

Pre-rolled has some similar melodies from Kush & OJ, and 28 grams. So, as you can imagine all four of these songs are perfect for kicking back and rolling up. Sledgren handled most of the production with assistance from Tay MasterChef, Prezident Jeff and Soldado. On the cover, Wiz poses with his new girlfriend Izabela Guedes, who is a 27-year-old model from Brazil living in California.

Wiz’s fellow Taylor Gang member Chevy Woods appears on two of the tracks while Kris Hollis is also featured on “Comment Creepin.”

Pre-Rolleds comes ahead of Wiz’s Rolling Papers 2 album, which was announced in 2015 and supposed to be released last year. Wiz gives a special announcement at the end of Pre-Rolleds that makes it seem like we will have to wait a bit longer for the LP.

It’s also worth mentioning Wiz has recently released a new line RAW rolling papers, so a new EP is a great way to draw people to the new product. Normally I’m not huge fan of artist luring fans in with new music simply to buy their product. I will make an exception here because, I love this project and with so much great music out this year it’s important we don’t forget artist like Wiz. This is probably the first time I haven’t heard Wiz Khalifa’s name in conjunction with Amber Rose for almost a year. I suppose I’m part of the problem, because I just brought it up.
