Kakapo bird
Kakapo is a rare and beautiful bird.Kakapo bird is same as a parrot but this bird cannot be flying. It is also called Owl Parrot. It is a species of large, flightless nocturnal, ground-dwelling parrot of the super-family strigopoidea, endemic to New Zealand. This bird's color is yellow-green plumage. This bird has a large grey, beak, short legs, large feet, and wings and a tail of relatively short length.
It is the only parrot to have a polygynous lek breeding system and is also a longest living bird in the world. It is also occasionally kept as pets. This bird breed in summer and autumn but only in years of good fruit abundance.
This bird often leaps from trees and flap their wings, but at best manage a controlled plummet. These birds are entirely vegetarian. Leaves, buds, flowers, fern fronds, bar roots, fruit, and seeds are this birds's eat.
