Razer Taipan mouse review
Hello Steemers!
Got a new mouse recently, my first Razer, the Taipan!
Bought it during Black Friday sale for 64€.
With the mouse you get Razer stickers, a quick start guide and 2 promotion flyiers.
It's advertised as one of the most simple Razer's, simetrical in shape and very light weight, it is equiped with a 8200dpi 4G laser sensor.
It has programmable 9 buttons, 2 on each side, 2 above the mouse wheel, the mouse wheel and the right and left click buttons, all together 11 variances including the scrolls on the wheel.
It works with Razer Synapse, a cloud based platform where one can store his mouse settings and edit them, accessing them on the go.
One can adjust the button funcionality the lightning, sensitivity and macros.
The Razer Synapse also allowes for surface calibration and tracking of stats (click done, distance, wheel rotations, etc.)
This was the first mouse I ever bought that wasn't some random cheap one.
Used it for a few days so far and I have to say the difference is easily notable, the configuration of the buttons is a very nice thing to have as you can even set some buttons to open for example chrome or you're bitcoin wallet.
The mouse fits the hand really good and with rubber on each side provides a nice grip.
I'm really glad I decided to make this purchase. Money well spent IMHO.
Definitely recommending the Taipan, haven't tried the other Razer ones, but this one seemed as a suiting one for me from the webcheck.
Kind regards, OZ :)
