Seeing Is Believing Isn’t Good Enough
When I first saw this headline, I had a difficult time getting passed the title. Had New Hampshire not been featured I probably wouldn’t have paid the article any attention. Any time I see something about one of the seven out of 50 states in America opposed to state taxes, I can’t help but notice.
“Wait, what’s that say? - Wha’d she do?!”
I can’t imagine the lifetime of horrific memories inside that little boys head. What happened inside that house to cause a mother to not only remove her sons finger from his hand... but.. wait, what?
Could you imagine seeing a billboard like that on your way to work tomorrow? A roadside advertisement about a woman complaining of indigestion after eating her sons finger will undoubtedly effect the morning commute. What about this one: What if you saw this advertisement on your way home today?
One billboard - That’s all it takes. People will cause bodily harm to themselves and each other over a spot in line at the gas station if this advertisement faced the freeway on your way home this evening:
Each day, the likeliness of me believing something, anything, without experiencing it myself by way of touch, smell or something physical is practically never. I can’t see or hear anything anymore without instinctually listening to the thought that’s saying: “Who’s paying you to tell me this?”
You didn’t really believe that stuff about the mom and the finger did you?

”Seeing Is Believing Isn’t Good Enough”
Good morning - Happy Monday! Below are some of the headlines designed specifically for us to see and believe right now. Some are just titled slightly different to benefit the company paying for the space. The rest are past headlines, ranging from recent months to a few years back, in comparison to current headlines regrading the same subject. All I did is conduct some searches on DuckDuckGo - Search, cut, paste, repeat. Thank you for paying attention:

If we’re mobile: Car, bike, bicycles, etc. advertisements are unavoidable. We can’t hang out on the ocean, several miles from a freeway, without airplanes flying overhead in opposite directions, each with a billboard in tow. Television commercials, Hollywood, bumper stickers, radio, e-mail, junk mail, mail-mail, they’re ruthless. There isn’t an offramp, interchange or emergency services sign anywhere in this country, that I’ve seen, with even half of the electrical energy spent on lighting as the animated, LED illuminated, 24v. controlled circuit billboard advertising the 2 for 1 drink special at the strip ‘Gentlemen’s Club:’

We recently put the television on pause. We’re guilty of falling asleep to our favorite court judge  but that’s the only time we pay attention to the On Demand, TiVo having thing. We leave the house now for hours at a time and intentionally leave both of our phones behind. Something as simple as asking a stranger what time it is had become obsolete, oddly enough, it makes for good conversation. Celebrity suicides, mass shootings, political propaganda, corrupt law makers - Typical front page news has all but vanished.
It’s too easy for these advertising phenoms to shape and mould opinions. We hold everything they say in the palm of our hands. The more TV and phone access I have, the more reluctant I am to see what’s going on outside. I’m pleasantly surprised to learn as I distance myself from a vehicle and a phone, It’s not as bad as I thought.
Refusing to be brow beaten into submission by way of media’s negativity, scaring us all into civil obedience. It’s a constant ‘shooting, stabbing, high speed chase, murder of children, kidnapping, amber alert, scamming, robbery, over paying, recalls, conspiracy, plotting, oppressing, enslaving and manipulating’ of society. Much much happier living within a happy bubble of ones creation. “Turn on your souls and turn off your TVs”. Good post babe!!
I sure am glad you like it. I hope you’re having a pleasant day as English Instructor. I’ll see you this afternoon, you’re gorgeous!
I live in Bubbletown..it's a small town in the state of Oblivion. It's quaint and peaceful here as long as one obeys the law requiring constant medication. Nobody bothers anyone else because nobody gives a shit. We all love our president and we trust him and our wonderful governing force. I was recently appointed to the enviable position of Chief Bullshit Spreader.I'm currently attempting to sell the town bridge and the adccompanying
Stairway to Heaven. All offers will be considered.
I drove past that place earlier this year. I hung out for a little while, met this dude named Vicky, or viccey, something like that??
He was telling me how landlords aren’t selling houses from under anyone, street curbs are forgiving and vehicles aren’t being repaired to the point of needing electrical repairs or anything! Man.. oblivion sure seems nice!
Thanks a lot for stopping by @carklevicci. We miss having you down here homie.
