RE: Real Talk #3 - The Art of Asking for Help
I love the honesty in this post. What you said in the beginning about not wanting to start because it needs to be perfect, that is what stopped me writing for a long time. As to the bullying, I wouldn't mind betting there is a high percentage of us who had similar experiences. Now, I'm almost 50, I still hate my school days. But I also recognise it made me who I am so I'm grateful for it too

I can relate. I don't exactly hate my school days, but I don't miss them that much either. I'm actually glad they are over. I didn't even attend the farewell of my latter high school and I still don't regret it. People keep telling me I'm gonna regret not seeing my friends for the last time later in life, but I honestly don't see that happening ever.
And yeah, just like you, I do also think that those bad experiences has made me stronger and more tolerant. After already having been through hell as a teen, I'm not really afraid of people like them anymore.
Thanks for your words. It really helps to hear how other people have been though the same in life. And thanks again for the upvote, resteem, and the tweet! You've made my day for sure!
