Rollo de Carne / Meat roll

1 kilo de carne de res molida * 2 huevos * 1 taza de pan molido* 2 cucharaditas de sal * 1 cucharadita de pimienta * 1 cucharada de ajo en polvo (o rallado) * Papel aluminio * 4-6 rebanadas de jamón * 6-8 rebanadas de queso * 2 tazas de espinacas (opcional) * 10-12 rebanadas de tocino 1 kilo of ground beef * 2 eggs * 1 cup of ground bread * 2 teaspoons of salt * 1 teaspoon of pepper * 1 teaspoon of garlic powder (or grated) * Aluminum foil * 4-6 slices of ham * 6- 8 slices of cheese * 2 cups of spinach (optional) * 10-12 slices of bacon

Preparación

Precalentar el horno a 350˚F/180°C.

En un recipiente grande mezclar la carne molida, huevos, pan molido, sal, pimienta y ajo en polvo. Mezclar hasta que esten bien combinados.

Colocar la mezcla anterior sobre papel aluminio y distribuir la mezcla de carne uniformemente.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 350˚F /180 ° C.

In a large bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Mix until they are well combined.

Place the previous mixture on aluminum foil and distribute the meat mixture evenly.

Colocar el jamón, queso, y espinacas encima de la carne. En este caso, el relleno fue adaptado a la época ñavideña, por ello se le coloco pernil y aceitunas con algo de zanahoria y pimentón.

Place the ham, cheese, and spinach on top of the meat. In this case, the filling was adapted to the ñavideña season, so it was placed on legs and olives with some carrot and paprika.

Levantar la carne cuidadosamente y formar un rollo ayudándose con el papel aluminio para facilitar este paso al enrollar.

Lift the meat carefully and form a roll using aluminum foil to facilitate this step when rolling.

En otra charola forrada con aluminio colocar las rebanadas de tocino lado a lado una encima de la otra. Poner el rollo de carne encima de estas.

Enrollar la carne con el tocino una vez más cuidadosamente. Hornear forrado de aluminio por 25 minutos.

On another aluminum-lined tray place the bacon slices side by side on top of each other. Put the meat roll on top of these.

Roll the meat with the bacon once more carefully. Bake aluminum lined for 25 minutes.

Incremente la temperatura a 500 ˚F /260˚ C. remover el papel aluminio y hornear por 20 minutos más hasta que el tocino tome un color dorado y esté crujiente.

Deje enfriar, rebane y sirva!

Increase the temperature to 500 ˚F /260˚ C. Remove the foil and bake for 20 more minutes until the bacon turns golden and crispy.

Let cool, slice and serve!

hahaha yeah that's the worst part, food seems ready and starts smelling great but oven wont stop for long :D
