Make sweet and light wine from grapes at home

Ingredients

For 3 liters of wine:

  • 1 / ₂ kg of grapes of wine varieties (Layfhaker used "Isabella");
  • 2¹ / ₂ liters of water;
  • 600 g of sugar.

Preparation

If you are sure that the grapes are clean, do not wash it: so on the berries will remain wine yeast. If unsure, rinse better or wipe with a wet towel.

Grapes grind in enameled dishes to make juice stand out. Then take up the syrup. Pour water into a saucepan, pour sugar and put on fire. Do not boil until you boil, just wait until the sugar dissolves.

Transfer the berry mixture into a glass bottle, fill with syrup, cover with a lid and put in a warm place for 21 days. If the temperature in the room is above 20 ° C, two weeks will suffice.

Every day, morning and evening, mix the mixture with a wooden spoon. If you do not interfere, the mash (the remains of berries) will sour and spoil the future wine.

After 21 days strain the wine and leave it for a week in a cool place. This is necessary to settle the yeast.

In a week you will see a whitish sediment at the bottom. Using a hose or funnel, pour the wine into bottles or jars, without touching the sediment.

Then put wine in a dark cool place for 6-12 months. The longer the wine lasts, the more intense its taste.
