Burger King’s New Drink Combines PSL With Something ELSE You Love
Dunkin’ Donuts’ Pumpkin Macchiato, Wawa’s Pumpkin Cheesecake Creme and Starbucks’ Pumpkin Spice Latte are all battling for our affection in this year’s fall pumpkin bev wars. But Burger King has been noticeably absent from the food fight, until now. Their new Pumpkin Spice Oreo milkshake will shake up your taste buds and might even replace your morning PSL (gasp!).
Burger King’s Pumpkin Spice Oreo Shake puts a festive fall twist on their classic Oreo Shake. The cold concoction is a silky smooth pumpkin and spice-flavored milkshake hand-spun with melt-in-your-mouth Oreo cookie crumbles.
Although the decadent, 500-calorie drink is sure to make you feel like you’ve died and gone to dairy heaven, we have bad news for pumpkin lovers: Brand Eating reports that the bev doesn’t actually contain real pumpkin. The pumpkin flavor comes from pumpkin spice syrup that is then infused into an Oreo shake. But given the global pumpkin shortage this year, Burger King’s pumpkin-inspired bev still offers hope to diners deprived of the succulent squash.
The new “PSO” is only available for a limited time this fall, so if the blended bev is already giving you the chills, hurry on over to a participating Burger King franchise near you to get in on the pumpkin action. You can curb your sweet tooth for the bargain price of around $2.59 for a 12-oz serving, depending on your location.
