Best Chocolate Chip cookies ever, I know I am a professional

To say I love chocolate chip cookies, would be an understatement. They are my favorite thing to cook, and to eat. Store bought will not due! We have tried so many recipes throughout the years and this is my go to, soft, chewy and chocolatey!

Here is all you will need

1 1/2 cups All purpose flour
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
6 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1/2 salt
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 cups chocolate chips (i use mini for more chocolate bursts)

preheat your oven to 350*

Place sugars and butter (room temp NOT MELTED) in mixer and mix about 2 mins until well combined. Add vanilla and egg and mix just until combined.
Sift together your flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then slowly add them into your mixer. Only mix until combined, do not overmix
Now, my favorite part! CHOCOLATE add in your chocolate chips and mix with spoonula.....you know those things that are a breed of spoons and spatulas? yeah that.

Sometimes I mix in dark chocolate chips and mini chips and regular, just whatever is in the freezer. I might of went a tad overboard on the chocolate with this batch. I never measure my chocolate out.

This is also when the children come in and beg for the beater!

I make truffle sized balls and place them on a greased cookie sheet. This is the important part guys.....Only cook for 10-12 mins. They might not look done, but that is how you get chewy cookies. Don't overbake

Now take those babies out and enjoy!!!
