Serbian sarma

Unlike many lists that you will find on the Internet, this one will include something Serbian - sarma. Since not too many people are familiar with it I will provide a short explanation of what it is. Well, basically it is just sour cabbage which is traditionally prepared in Serbian homes in barrels, which is used to wrap up a beef meet. It's being boiled in water for some time before its ready to serve. Sarma has a very specific, pleasing sour taste, yet it is a meaty meal. If you get the chance, don't miss it out!
