LOOK TOWARDS THE SUN
This morning I strolled through the garden looking at all the plants. They experienced the past week enormous Winds, Hail twice and lots of Rain. Yet, their colours are now more intensified and brighter, they all are turning towards the morning son with what they have left.
It made me realise that we are like them.
Sometimes we experience roaring winds in our lives. Things happen that set us totally of course. Our dreams and good intentions are blown away. We go through icy cold winds that chill our Souls and make us cold towards other people. Also happens that structures around us are blown over and have devastating effects in our lives.
We all live through hailstorms. It damages our Souls and leaves awful holes and marks that hurt like hell.
Then we receive the rain. Not chemical municipal- or contaminated borehole water. Pure holy water sent from above. It is like our tears, pure, honest and coming from our hearts. It cleanses and refreshes us.
What we do not realise is that we need all of this to be able to grow and prosper as children of God. We need the wind to slow us down. We need the hail because it contains fertiliser. We need the rain to activate the fertiliser to grow.
Let us be like the plants in our gardens. No matter how dry you are, how many holes you have in your sole or how much tears you have shed – Pick up your head, look towards God and keep on growing. You are now stronger than ever!
Remember Spring always arrives in time with lots of Sunshine and mild soothing Rain.
We were surprised yesterday with rain, cold and hail. I decided to make a nice hot drink to uplift our spirits. It did wonders!
But first – Tips and Advice for the day –
BURNED TOAST –
Do not scrape with a knife; it will leave a bitter taste. Just rub 2 slices against each other until clean.
FRYING ONIONS –
Always add a little bit of Brown Sugar while frying. It will create a beautiful golden brown colour and intensifies the aroma of any dish.

Dill – Use with Fish, Creamy Sauces, Cucumbers, Potatoes. Seeds may be used in At jar’s, Soup, Salads and Egg dishes.
WARM MOCCA CREAM –
2 Cups Milk, 1 spoon instant Coffee, 1 spoon Cocoa, Sugar to taste, 4 spoons whipped Cream
Heat Milk to nearly boiling point. Mix Coffee and Cocoa in. Give it a good stir. Add Sugar and mix in mixer or liquidiser until frothy. Pour into cups. Add Cream on top. Serve with love.
