"And Jesus stood and said, Call ye him: and they called the blind man, saying, Be of good cheer: arise, he calleth thee." Mark 10.49

There are also countless "blind" in our day who hear the voice of Jesus, but can not recognize Him. Depressive people are part of this group. You may not be able to recognize Jesus either, perhaps your vision is obscured, because in you everything is darkness. The Bible no longer speaks to your heart as it used to. Your heart is so heavy that you can not even pray right anymore. Know that, at this very moment, Jesus of Nazareth passes through you. Take advantage of this special opportunity now. Invoke Him as the blind man has done! If you can not pray out loud, cry out to Him in your heart, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Even if you are in the midst of a crowd of people, Jesus hears you. The blind Bartimaeus did not let himself be influenced by the crowd, and Jesus stopped because of him. Jesus stops for you if you cry out to Him. Did the Lord Jesus heal the blind man immediately? No. Bartimaeus first had to get close to Jesus. And then Jesus opened the blind man's eyes? Not yet, for Jesus still demanded the expression of the faith of the blind. Bartimaeus understood this and asked, "Master, let me see again." Then Jesus said to him, "Go, your faith has saved you." Jesus also wants to hear what you expect from Him!
