An Atheist Side of Story-"You don't have any morals"

"But how can you have any morals if you are an atheist"- I have heard these words so many times in my life now and it always pisses me off because apparently you have to  be religious to understand basic morals. I honestly don't have an answer to satisfy the religious people out there but my morals come from evolution. We evolve as a species and observe what is right and wrong. Like the civil rights,gay rights,domestic violence etc. Bible, Quran, Bhagvad gita and none of the other books told about those movements but we realised that we were discriminating and treating them wrong. 

If religion was the only thing that tells you wrong and right then why do so many animals have morals. Most of the animal species don't kill their own or their babies and yet I haven't seen them attending church on sunday. I have never heard of any terrorist group killing in the name of science but I do have seen them illing in the name of islam,christianity,hinduism etc.

So I just want to say that we are the most intelligent species on the planet and we(or atleast me) don't need a religion or a book to tell me right from wrong because as a species we learn and evolve. 

I respect all religions but believe in none. #Harambe2016 haha
