The red cars are faster?

People generally assume that adhere to a certain ideology, belief or religion after making the necessary assessments of all known options.

Someone may say that it is Catholic because this is the only religion which meets all the conditions of kindness, love and respect for God. Another may say that after a careful analysis of the main options (capitalism, anarchy and socialism), was convinced that the best thing for humanity is socialism that contemplates the different capacities of individuals, avoiding distributive injustice.

All this is happening even though nobody remembers himself looking for information on all ideologies, collecting data, evaluating, discussing, consulting and finally deciding.

Whenever the opportunity arises, we see someone passionately defending their religion, their soccer team, his political party. Displays an assortment of foundations as if they had been originally that led him to embrace this option.

However none of this actually happens. We chose the idea, religion, political party or ideological position that is because it is the best justifies what we want to happen for that instance of study, evaluation and careful selection, never existed. In this type of election guides us only seeking pleasure ... and it is legitimate that way.
