Praise be to God for the variety of blessings that Allah gives. Shalawat and greetings on behalf of our Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam to his family and his followers.
All must have known the virtue of the night of Lailatul Qadar. But when did that night come? Then are there any signs of the night? May we be facilitated by God to get a night of virtue better than 1000 months.
The virtue of Lailatul Qadar
My brother, in the last third of this blessed month there is the night of Lailatul Qadar, a night glorified by God over the other nights. Among the glory of the night is Allah mensifatinya with a night of blessing. Allah Ta'ala said,
إنا أنزلناه في ليلة مباركة إنا كنا منذرين (3) فيها يفرق كل أمر حكيم (4)
"We have sent down (the Qur'an) on a blessed night. We are the ones who give warning. On that night all the wise matters are explained. "(Surah Ad Dukhan [44]: 3-4). The blessed night in this verse is the night of the lailatul qadar as interpreted on the letter of Al Qadar. Allah Ta'ala said,
إنا أنزلناه في ليلة القدر (1)
"We have sent it down (the Qur'an) on the night of glory." (Surat Al-Qadar:
Such blessings and glory are mentioned in the next verse,
ليلة القدر خير من ألف شهر (3) تنزل الملائكة والروح فيها بإذن ربهم من كل أمر (4) سلام هي حتى مطلع الفجر (5)
"The night of glory is better than a thousand months. That night the angels and angels of Gabriel descended with the permission of their Lord to arrange all matters. That night (full) prosperity until dawn. "(Surat al-Qadar: 97 3-5)
When's The Night of Lailatul Qadar Happening?
Lailatul Qadar that occurred on the last ten nights in Ramadan, as the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,
تحروا ليلة القدر فى العشر الأواخر من رمضان
"Look for lailatul qadar on the last ten nights of Ramadan." (Narrated by Bukhari)
The occurrence of lailatul qadar in the odd nights is more possible than the even nights, as the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,
تحروا ليلة القدر فى الوتر من العشر الأواخر من رمضان
"Look for the qadar lailatul on the odd night of the last ten nights of Ramadan." (Narrated by Bukhari)
The occurrence of lailatul qadar in the last seven nights of Ramadan is more possible as the hadith from Ibn Umar that the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
التمسوها فى العشر الأواخر - يعنى ليلة القدر - فإن ضعف أحدكم أو عجز فلا يغلبن على السبع البواقى
"Seek the lailatul qadar in the last ten nights, but if he is overwritten exhausted, then he should not be defeated on the remaining seven nights." (Muslim)
And who chose the opinion that lailatul qadar is the twenty-seventh night as confirmed by Ubay bin Ka'ab radhiyallahu 'anhu. But the most powerful opinion of the various opinions that existed as Ibn Hajar said in Fathul Bari that the lailatul qadar happened on the odd night of the last ten nights and the time moved from year to year. Perhaps in a certain year it occurs on the twenty-seventh night or perhaps the following year occurs on the twenty-fifth night depending on the will and wisdom of Allah Ta'ala. This is confirmed by the words of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam,
التمسوها فى العشر الأواخر من رمضان ليلة القدر فى تاسعة تبقى, فى سابعة تبقى, فى خامسة تبقى
"Find the lailatul qadar in the last ten nights of the month of Ramadan on the remaining nine, seven, and five nights." (Narrated by Bukhari)
Note: Allah's wisdom conceals the knowledge of the occurrence of the night of the lailatul qadar among which is to distinguish between the earnest person to seek that night with the lazy person. Because people who really want to get something will certainly be serious in searching for it. It is also the grace of God that I may multiply the practice in those days so that they will grow closer to Him and will gain a great reward. May Allah make it easy for us to have this blessed night. The Night Sign of Lailatul Qadar
[1] The air and the surrounding wind are calm. As from Ibn Abbas, the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
ليلة القدر ليلة سمحة طلقة الشمس صبيحتها ضعيفة
"Lailatul qadar is a night full of tenderness, bright, not so hot, nor so cold, in the morning the sun shines weakly and looks reddish.
