THE NEW MAN

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
My emphasis will be on 'he is a new creature'. Many believers are ignorant of who they are. They don't know what Christ has made them. They don't understand what potential they havd and how powerful they are. Until a believer understands who he is, he can't see himself the way God sees him hence he can't live above the ordinary man.
Who is the new man ? His kind never existed. He was created and is after the order of God (John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:). He is a son. He has power the world cannot comprehend. He can be led by God. He can heal the sick, raise the dead. He can cast out demons. He has right to have his prayers answered. What a privilege to be a son !
