There were no death before Adam and Eve because there were only Angles in the heaven who are immortals.
Also in this world there are three types of souls: Humans, Angles and Jenn.
The humans beeing in this world for a short time life then they die then their souls go the heaven to see their place in the immortal life which callled " the life of the Ismuth" then they raise up from their garves to the " counting day" then they face their distny whether the Paradise which is made to the people who made a good deeds in their life, or go to the Hill fire which is made to the people who didn't follow the rules of their religion.
The humans under test freely if they did a good deeds sobthey will gobto the paradise but if they didn't sovthey will go to the hill fire. They can't see the angles nor the Jenn.
As for Angles, they all will be a live untill the day of resuriction, their work only to keep praising the God and some if them have a special work like Angel Azrael who is working as the Angel of death " who taking the souls when their lifes is finished"
And Angel Gebrael who is responsible of the reveleation and a special angles who alwayes acompany the human while he is in this life to write everything he do whether the good or nad and many others.
The Angles , they are not under test l, they only do what they ordered from God. The humans never see them.
As for Jenn, they under test from God too but tehy are different than humans in theree things:
1:they live in between the layers of earth
2:they can see humans but the humans not.
3: they live longer than the humans.
