Daily Scripture
Today I would like to look at Romans 5 verse 1
1)Now that we have been put right with God through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
To have peace with God means that we are reconciled with God. This means that there are no hostility between us and God, because sin is not standing between us and God, as Jesus has paid for our sins.
I hope you have a wonderful day.
Soli Deo Gloria
Amen

Lovely passage. From my own understanding, the exhortation is not to attain peace, but retain it. ‘Hold fast that thou hast; let no man take thy crown.’ ‘Being justified by faith’ cling to your treasure and let nothing rob you of it-’let us have peace with God.’It ours as children of God.
Amen, thank you very much for the very nice comment.

You are right, God loves us and there is no enmity between us. Let it be so, Amen! Thank you Gloria and peace to your home!

We only get our redemption through our Lord Jesus Christ; through him as the great Peace-maker, the Mediator between God and man. The saints' happy state is a state of grace. Into this grace we are brought, which teaches that we were not born in this state.
Amen, thank you very much for the very nice comment.
It is only sin that keeps us away from God. God loves us somuch, but He can't behold sin, so He can't be with us. Through Jesus we can become close to God again.
Amen, thank you very much for the very nice comment.
It's so good to realize that a blessed change takes place in the sinner's state, when he becomes a true believer, whatever he has been. Being justified by faith he has peace with God. The holy, righteous God, cannot be at peace with a sinner, while under the guilt of sin. Justification takes away the guilt, and so makes way for peace.
Amen, thank you very much for the very nice comment.
