Nucleus Vision Launches Global Identity and Consent (GIDC) Blockchain Network
Nucleus Vision has launched a private blockchain — the Global Identity and Consent (GIDC) network at Genesis DevCon Nov 2019, Bengaluru, India. The blockchain network gives power to users to control who can access their data.
The blockchain network currently has five active nodes and executes smart contracts when users enable or disable permissions to a business in the Nucleus Vision ecosystem.
Nucleus Vision has built a vast data network that comprises businesses, data partners, and users. By identifying users in brick-and-mortar stores through proprietary sensor technology, Nucleus Vision provides offline businesses with knowledge of user shopping preferences and behavioral patterns. Thus, Nucleus Vision poises to bring about a tremendous change in the consumer experience in physical stores.
User data privacy and security have always been at the core of the Nucleus Vision platform. The new blockchain-based consent network allows users to enable and disable permissions on demand. Based on their consent, the network executes smart contracts to control data exchange between the parties in the ecosystem.
