Thoughts on working and retirement
So, I'm sitting here thinking about why a person would labor their entire life. No big deal really. Just a regular idea about life and its circumstances, right?

Well, I'm thinking the key word is "insurance." Or maybe its ensurance - it makes more sense spelled that way, I think. Bottom line is... is that a person will work their whole life simply with the intention to ensure they continue being alive.
But, consider the possibility that, at the end of the day, the most rewarding feature to life is to thrive. When you thrive you endorse the world around you and the world rewards you with - what is essentially - "good vibes." It makes you feel good as a human being. Not just as an ego, or president of your bowling club or whatever. But as a human-to-human being.
Ill spare you the hippie jive. I think we all know what I mean, maaaaan.
So what I am saying here is that there is no merit in living a life just to prolong your breathing. The only way to guarantee your life is full and prosperous to actually live it.
Interestingly enough, however, it takes time for even the most clever of apes to learn to use this gift called life.
Think. Think. Think. Do.
