Quick Movie Review - Why you should watch Ready Player One
Based on the novel by Ernest cline, Ready Player one is 2h and 20 minutes of pure awesomeness directed by Steven Spielberg which speaks for itself. Quick Summary: When the creator of a virtual reality world called the OASIS dies, he releases a video in which he challenges all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune.
The movie starts slowly getting you familiar with the main character and The OASIS itself. I want divulge any spoilers here because I want you to judge and experience the movie in full by yourself. What I will tell you is that the story is quite beautiful, made slightly different from the sci fi novel by Ernest Cline. They keep changing from OASIS to the real world and back again which is good and makes you really follow the story with more excitement and enthusiasm. The special effects were really really good and there were a few references to some of the games like Minecraft, Street Fighter, Overwatch, Mass Effect, Tomb Raider, Borderlands etc. and movies like Back to the Future, RoboCop, Breakfast Club, Star Wars, Star Trek, anime like Akira, Gundam, etc. The battles were like you were there looking at all those different characters with different outfits fighting to get the prize and become game master.
IMAGE CREDITThis gritty emotional adventure keeps you at the edge of your seat from the entire time, and it could not have been made better by my opinion. Aside from from some predictable romantic drama which was by itself an important part of the story, and needed to be there despite some maybe not wanting it.
IMAGE CREDITErnest Cline also mentioned working on the novel sequel, so we might also see a movie sequel some time in the future.

Thanks for the post.
Spieberg has been crushing for years.
I just re-watched JAWS this month.
Great movie!!!
Awesome, keeps you hooked the whole movie, if you like video games you'll like to see it until the end, Spielberg never disappoints.
I have a review of Avengers Infinity War, if you're interested in the world of Marvel. ☺
