Apparently, the film was not very well received and I can understand it, since breaking the already establish, there is a very different way to watch it. It's one of those more intense Disney movies I've seen, I even went to see it twice, the first time I saw it as a common spectator and I was captured by the way it developed on the next view I saw it in a philosophical way, incredibly enough, This movie is a beautiful philosophy class. So, I invite you to decipher together the content of this movie.

The film is based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Madeleine L'Engle, which is why it is quite dense. Many of the critics it had, was by the script nothing light, included the complexity of the plot, something for many caused a great surprise Disney made this type of film. When I went to see it first time, spectators in the theater got bored and children were not move by the film. This film is not for everyone, only to those who are willing to immerse themselves into the story presented to us. Yes, it has its flaws, but they were not strong enough to rule it out. Even though I didn’t have the opportunity to read the book I think it was wrongly conceived as a children's film by its characters, yet instead of the protagonists were a child and two teenagers, the plot is still very confusing talking about a time paradox, so that we can already suspect it is not for children.

Travels in time.

Life is an existential dilemma and time is the existence of life; But, what happens when you join your life to time? That is what this film is about, that internal journey we seldom do with or without consequences, a passer-by life being, where situations play against us, where we despair and where sometimes we lose hope. The film teaches us that any life aspect will always reverberate in time, since it is responsible for our acts doing or not. We can’t see life as a simplistic structure, where we have to live and die, "Life question" doesn’t try to frame us in a vile selfishness, thus not even how big we are, but the desire we have left to live, the knowing essence for all there is always a solution despite difficulties (which one certainly seeks), there will always be improvement possibility. The film focuses on a journey to recover the protagonist’s father, but on that trip there are dilemmas and doubts for which each protagonist passes, that is one of the film greatness, it shows you that no matter how different we are there is always something that will unite us and that is love.

Time in the trip.

After the first 30 minutes I understood time is the one that comes to us, it is in charge of giving us the least complicated trip of our lives, very different from when we travel through time. It's like a tongue twister, but time is responsible for obscuring or clarifying situations, in a part of the film I understood that forgiveness is the best remedy for the soul, and why is it so difficult to forgive? The answer is simple, forgiveness is time and when you heal all your wounds you will understand that this "time" comes by itself, without needing you to look for it. Sometimes it is said time is malicious and in this film I understood the malicious ones are we, wanting to give time to time, that great complication we place on ourselves when we are wanting to interpret things as we whimsical see them and not the way they really are.

Mrs. What?

From our birth we arrived with great unknowns, which mark us by the time passed bye; without doubt the WHATs are the ones that predominate during this facet of life, in this film I saw it reflected in the following way: What is like a child, innocent and eager to ask for everything and even upset anyone by their questions, yet that's the way the questions are, uncomfortable. Now, the Lady What’s incisiveness was her very sarcastic way of seeing life, in fact there are many “What” in our lives, we used it on almost every situation, but as we grow up other questions types are generated and that is the second character in this movie is represented.

IMAGEN

Mrs. Who?

Here we enter the phase where “What” changes from being a child to become a who… “Who” is a teenager, this is the phase in which we know more or less what we want and we enter into “Who am I?” function, I recognize myself as a this world being with purposes to fulfill, in this film I understood the important fact of knowing who we are as individuals and that by knowing what we are capable of: we will become so intelligent that with simple sentences people will understand us. However, the Who are a wisdom reflection we learned from the What, the What and the Who come together in a triad that is missing to complement to give understanding about these great theories about human time.

IMAGEN

Mrs. Which?

The film finishes developing this great time triad and is nothing more than the child development from a what then passed through adolescence to become a Who ending with the Which criterion. And that is the end of all on this planet, to know what our mission is, the one for which we come, in the film, we see Mrs. Which be the greatest of all, the most centered, the one who directs life in time. And that happens because after the child = what happens to be a teenager = who, reaches its final stage which is adulthood = which, where our future is based. Indeed, in case you didn’t realize it, each one of these facets represents a time of our lives, which was the huge lesson film, I have seen how many people stay stuck in the which, where they don’t know what they are here for, not even know what their present is? Undoubtedly, this film is for those who are looking for meeting their inner self, for those who lost hope and especially for those who doesn’t know what love is.

In life we always walk with a past, which we can turn into a present, so that the future would be everything we want in a positive way. Remember time doesn’t forgive, therefore, if you love someone it's time to tell them, if you need to forgive, just do it. Don’t stay stuck with your feelings because time can’t be recover, but the desire to live life does.
