The Minotaur's Maze (An Original Riddle)
You have been in the maze for 2 days. 2 days since your last meal and 2 days since water last touched your lips. You have grown exhausted. Every part of your body aches and your legs threaten to give out from under you with every step. The maze has been treacherous: full of pitfalls and hidden traps. It is a wonder you have made it this far. The stone walls surrounding are cold and unforgiving. You deliriously stumble around the next corner. Towering before you is the mythical Minotaur. You blink for a long second, expecting it to be gone when you open your eyes, but he does not disappear. He stands in the middle of a fork in the path. Before you can turn to run, you hear his deep, booming voice:
"One of these paths leads to the exit of the maze. The other leads into the maze for eternity. Answer my riddle correctly, and I will lead you to the exit of the maze. Answer incorrectly, and you will be left to chose for yourself"
In your stupor of exhaustion and disbelief you manage to nod to the Minotaur.
"Which of these 2 paths leads to the maze's exit?"
Assuming the Minotaur speaks the truth, how do you answer his riddle?
