Ripple Adds New Payment Providers In Its Pilot Platform "XRapid"
The bit of "XRP" has just become a bit more valuable. The company has signed deals with IDT and Mercury FX , both payment service providers that handle millions of transactions worldwide each year. Both companies will use the xRipid platform, which allows organizations to reduce access costs and provide liquidity to their customers.
The real value of the Ripple coin
Ripple wants to demonstrate that its xRapid platform is the fastest and cheapest platform among other payment methods. The platform is designed to allow global money transfer services and central banks to free up capital that is often associated with so-called "Nostro" and "Vostro" accounts
The abundance of partnerships
The two new additions to the Ripple family helped the company start in 2018 with a loud start. Earlier this month, Money Gram, the world's second-largest payment service provider, announced it would use the xRapid platform, as did Cuallix of Mexico. In November last year, Reebel announced a deal with the American Express credit card issuer. An executive from "Amex" commented on the order, explaining that the platform will play a major role in customer service. In fact, the full list of existing RIBPs is very long, with more than 100 central banks and many payment providers. The list appears to be longer and longer as more and more payment service providers seek to release liquidity and reduce their costs in a way that they have not been able to do before.
Outlook at present
The XRP has risen to more than 500% over the past year and its chief executive, Brad Carlingos, recently said that there are plenty of key announcements coming about partnerships with major players in the market. The company will not announce this information until partners are ready to disclose themselves. But while this information remains so secret for some time, organizations dealing with the reef can be reassured because there are huge amounts of money that will be able to flow more freely than ever before.
