What is Ripple?

Ripple (XRP) is a new crypto currency that will change the banking world. First of all, it's technology is much more different then Bitcoin. It's developed by the Ripple Company. Also mined by this company too. You can not mine Ripple by yourself.

What is Ripple Used For?

Ripple has very low transaction duration. While a bitcoin transaction takes 1-6 hours, Ripple transaction just takes 4 seconds! And the transaction fees are very low. It can be exchanged to any conventional currency. With these advantages, it's very suitable for banking industry. Also, the company is signing new contracts with many banks and payments methods every day. This one the reasons its price increases.

Ripple On the Crypto Market

Ripple started on the exchange market as an AltCoin. But now we can say that it has become one of the top coins. You can check it's market value and charts on coinmarketcap.  Ripple company initially mined 100 billion ripples and company holds 50 billion ripples to be used on banking transactions. 40 billion is used for exchange market. And lastly 10 billion is hold by a founder of the company. That's a risk for exchange market and the company is trying to solve this problem with the mysterious founder.

2018 Ripple Price Prediction

I've been read many blog post about 2018 price predictions last 15 days. During that 15 days Ripple has doubled the price. It was 0.7 USD when I first bought. Today the price is 1.65 USD. My personal prediction is Ripple will be 5-10 USD at the end of 2018. I wonder what will I think when i read my prediction 1 year later. I do not believe that it will go huge like bitcoin. Because it's initially mined in a huge volume. Bitcoin is just limited to 16 million coins. This blog is not an investment suggestion. Please read more before you decide on your own.
