Robotic company Boston Dynamics robot unveiled a new generation of Atlas, which caused a stir among Internet users.
As stated in the description, the new version of the Atlas is designed to work outdoors and inside buildings. It works by electricity and has a hydraulic drive. To maintain equilibrium robot uses sensors to his body and legs, and sensors in the head to help him avoid obstacles, to navigate the terrain and move objects.
The height of the robot is about 1.5 meters, and weight - 81.6 kg. He is able to walk on uneven ground, climbing after a fall and lift boxes weighing 4.5 kg.
