The Brazilian hung his boots in 2015.
Diego Maradona, manager of Gimnasia, is keen to include him in his squad.
The Brazilian is reportedly open to the prospect.
Barcelona legend Ronaldinho is set to come out of retirement and take to the football pitch once again, Marca reports.

As per the story, Diego Maradona, who is currently the manager of Argentine club Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, is looking to include the Brazilian in his squad.

Ronaldinho is reportedly open to the idea and he's already made it known to the Albiceleste great.

The stumbling block, however, appears to be the fact that the Brazilian is still under house arrest following his passport issue in Paraguay recently. It remains to be seen what will happen in the coming months.

Ronaldinho represented Barcelona between 2003 and 2008 where he bagged an impressive 94 goals and 71 assists from 207 games.

He represented the likes of AC Milan, Flamengo, Atletico MG and Queretaro before eventually retiring at Fluminense on September 29, 2015.
