Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. (Theodore Roosevelt)

It is so easy to just look at what you don't have. It is so much easier to see lacks instead of seeing opportunities. Maybe you look into the fridge and all you can see is a liver paste, some butter, and some dry bread (if you keep the bread in the fridge). You might complain, but you can also see a chance to at least eat some bread with liverpaste, and maybe even with butter (even though I personally hate butter beneath the liver paste).

Instead of looking at the lacks and everything you cannot do, start to look at the world from a different perspective in which you actually look at what you have and what you can do with what you have. That will make everything so much more interesting, and you should be able to enjoy life way more than before.

After all, just stuffing your brain with pardons and bad thoughts all day will not make you happy. When you start to concentrate on the positive stuff, you will do a better job, you will feel better, and you will also see that you will be able to do more and more as time passes by.

Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. (Theodore Roosevelt)
