Rock N Roll Half Marathon
Hey everyone. My name is Erik and I love to run. Yah. If you know me, you know I love to run. I have been running competitively for over 10 years and I ran Cross Country and Track and Field throughout Elementary School, Middle School, High School, and College. Now I'm training myself post-collegiately and competing in races throughout Arizona and California.
This past weekend on January 14th, I ran in my first Half Marathon ever at the Arizona Rock N Roll Half Marathon in Phoenix/Tempe/Mesa/Scottsdale, Arizona. I ran a Half Marathon Lifetime PR of 1:15:49, which is 5:47 mile pace for 13.1 miles. I placed 18th out of 8,575 runners and 16th on the men's side, as well as placing 3rd in my age group for 18-24 year olds. You bet I rang the PR bell at the end of the race!
