The Worst Sort Of Crying
Starts with an overwhelming feeling of sadness,
It gnaws at you at first,
Before it creates a hollow pit in your stomach,
You try to hold the sadness in,
Your body shakes silently,
When you finally let the tears roll,
It's like a dam has come undone,
One hand clutches your stomach,
The other holds your mouth as you try not to make a sound,
The cold floor seems comforting,
But your body is too numb,
Soon after the tears stop rolling,
You are left with a nauseating feeling of sadness and grief,
A sense of loneliness sets in embracing you like a lover would,
With shaky hands, you hold yourself tight
Silently praying for that to be the end.
