Brave boy, Solomon the Samoyed is getting confident

Samoyeds do not like deep water, and for good reason.

Their fur will get wet and weigh them down so they sink.

We have been taking Solomon to the beach every evening for the last 7 days or so when the tide is at its furthest out, and he has been happy paddling about in the water as he can touch the floor.

Recently though he has been walking a little further out where it starts to get deeper.

If there were waves he wouldn't do it, but I think he enjoys the small ripples that come his way, AND he likes to see if he can get closer to the seagulls, which bob on the water just out of reach haha.

This is probably the deepest he has been, he usually changes his mind when the water touches his chest, but last night, he didn't seem to care.

We never force him, we just walk in our ourselves and don't make a big deal about it by trying to get him to come in so he thinks its a trick, we just walk along and he decides to join us when he is ready.

Now we have a Samoyed that likes the sea!!
