The South Korean smartphone manufacturer Samsung introduced a new Galaxy On8 phone in India. The latest additions to the On series will be available on Flipkart starting from August 6. Priced at Rs 16,990, the mid-budget device sports a 6-inch super AMOLED Infinity display giving the user more immersive viewing experience. Along with that, the Galaxy On8 smartphone also has unique features like Chat Over Video, My Galaxy Video and Live Stickers. Coming to the specifications, the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 octa-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz combined with 4 GB of RAM. Whereas in the storage department, the phone has 64 GB of onboard storage expandable up to 256 GB through a dedicated micro SD slot. The smartphone also features a 3,500 mAh battery. On the optics side, the Galaxy On8 offers a dual camera setup of 16MP + 5MP sensors set at f/1.7 aperture and f/1.9 aperture respectively. Aided with AI enhancement, the camera showcases various modes like Live Focus, Background Blur Shape, Portrait Dolly and Portrait Backdrop.
