Samsung has launched its newest flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra with S-Pen.
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ have the same chipset, either a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or a 4nm Exynos 2200, both featuring an octa-core processor with one Cortex-X2 core, three Cortex-A710 cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores. The S22 and S22+ smartphones come in 8+128GB and 8+256GB configurations.
When it comes to cameras, Galaxy S22 and S22+ are also the same, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and 10-megapixel telephoto snapper. Moreover, a 10-megapixel fixed-focus selfie camera is tucked in the display's punch-hole.
The Samsung Galaxy S22 has a 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X, reaching a peak brightness of 1,300 nits and adapting refresh rates between 10Hz and 120Hz. Meanwhile, S22+ has a larger 6.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display, which dynamically refreshes between 10Hz and 120Hz and carries out a higher 1,750 nits of brightness.
In the battery department, the Galaxy S22 packs a 3,700mAh battery, which charges at a maximum rate of 25W. The battery of S22+, on the other hand, is bigger at 4,500mAh, with faster 45W wired charging.

Meanwhile, Galaxy S22 Ultra features a design similar to the now-defunct Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with a flattened front, back, top, and bottom with curved sides. Its new integrated S Pen features an updated latency of 2.8ms and Co-Ordinate prediction technology powered by artificial intelligence. Additionally, Samsung enhanced the handwriting to text feature, supporting 88 languages.
S22 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch, 1440p Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, 1,750 nits of peak brightness, and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage.
Regarding cameras, Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra features a quad-camera composed of 108MP wide, 12MP ultra-wide, two 10MP zoom lenses, and a 40MP selfie camera.
In terms of memory and onboard storage, the S22 Ultra will start at 8GB memory with 128GB of storage, with a max configuration of up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage. It also packs a gigantic 5,000mAh battery with support for up to 45W fast charging using a wired charger and 15W wirelessly.
All panels of the Galaxy S22 series, both front and back, are equipped with Gorilla Glass Victus+. They're IP68 waterproof and utilize Samsung's ultrasonic fingerprint for biometric authentication.
