San Diego Street Art, mermaid 🧜‍♀️ (utility box addition)

This is the first of many to come in this side addition of street art. Dedicated to utility boxes throughout the city of San Diego.

I do love how the city encourages artist to put their marks on things that are normally bland and dull.

The ocean feel of this artwork is quite lovely. The dolphins add a pleasant smile to my face when I view them.😌

Sorry about the sun rays coming thru in this photo. It’s hard to get a 360 degree photos without the sun getting involved. 🌞

I get this feeling that this is somehow the shadow mermaid of the one you see in the first picture.

Both seem as one but have an appearance of contemplating the world around them in a different way. Well that’s what I get from it at least.

I’m guessing the artist was requested to put a mermaid here because this mural is located right next to this brewery that has a mermaid on their logo.

This lovely artwork and brewery can be found in the lovely little beach community of Imperiol Beach.
