Binance tightens control over referral payments[↻50%]
To reduce the number of phishing websites, as well as to prevent confusion with the official Binance domains, according to the blog post, the exchange team decides not to pay referral bonuses and commissions if:
- Transitions will occur from any third-party websites or accounts from social networks that mimic Binance. Not limited to the following situations:
Go from pages similar to Binance.com, with an excessive number of Binance logos;
Redirecting from accounts that try to mimic accounts of social networks Binance (Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, Instagram, etc.);
Redirected from URLs that are similar to the Binance URL (www.binance.com), for example www.binance.xxx.com;
Redirected from any unofficial third-party URLs;
- The publication of the referral link Binance as advertising in search engines, such as Google, Bing, Baidu, etc.
