What is excellence spirit: is a state of quality or condition of excelling superiority. Excellence refers to pursuing and doing the best we can with the gift and abilities God has given to us, it has to do with doing common things but in a very common ways. Excellence has to do with being better tomorrow than you were yesterday.

Excellence means an attitude, this refers to Daniel positive attitude and teachable spirit. His positive attitude was noticed by others. See Daniel 6:1-10.

Jesus often spoke of the importance of having an excellence spirit in Luke 16:10 says "He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in the much."

A person with a spirit of excellence is a rare person indeed in workplace. The person will stand head and shoulders above everyone else as Daniel did.

This is why Prov. 22:29 says “Do you see a man who excels in his work. He will stand before Kings, he will not serve before obscure men.

The most important things about an excellence spirit is that:

• A man with an excellence spirit cannot be lost in the crowd. Daniel 2:48
• A man with an excellence spirit always carry influence.
• A man with an excellence spirit will always do extra-ordinary things and a perfect example of a man with extra-ordinary deeds is Jesus.
• A man with an excellence spirit is a man of prayer. Daniel 6:10-11
