Have you ever wondered if you really are a prayer believer?
Source
From my own experience, I know that prayer is vital and is the arm that activates God's power in our favor. Prayer is the breath of life and spiritual vigor, so some Christians are becoming asthmatic and their spiritual life slowly escapes them. Then, the question arises:
How do you evaluate your prayer life?
On a scale of 1 to 10, how do you evaluate your prayer life? Is it good, medium or just regular? Do you pray as you used to? Or are you involved in the trajines of life so that your private moments with God have diminished? Is your prayer life limited only to asking for the blessing to eat and make a short prayer before bedtime?
When was the last time you opened your heart to God in quiet communication and received spiritual healing, forgiveness, advice or just a comforting hug? You may think that prayer is a useless practice due to past mistakes or a current lifestyle. Or maybe you are praying more, but nothing seems to change and you can ask yourself if there really is someone upstairs to listen to you.
You may have an acceptable prayer life, but you want to walk closer to the Lord. He wants to make sure he is not caught in the so-called "innovations", false, of course, in the field of intimate communion with God, such as astral projections, extracorporeal experiences, internal dialogues with "Christ" and "angels." Whatever your experience, do not neglect the prayer, because it is the most important line of communication between you and your creator.

Thanks for sharing an interesting reflection. It must be taken into account for our prayer life.
Prayer doesn't "activate God's power." God uses his power as he sees fit to do so for his own purposes.
Even if you're a mature believer doing your best to live a holy life, that doesn't mean that you'll be spared trouble, trials, or tragedy.
My first wife died when she was 30. Our two children were stillborn.
