RE: How to sell Steem: Scalability

in #scalability5 years ago

I thought I was convinced before the last 2 forks that steem had something good, but now it really feels like it's becoming an even healthier community. Especially with so much less bot usage.

Curious if i might pick your brain a bit.
context I've been working to get my fellow longboarders on steemit, and if it goes good for the first few I expect a small flood of people joining. Many of which are tied heavily into the longboard industry, film making, and the international longboard race championships.
So the ultimate dream would be longboard companies buying steem power, to upvote anyone riding their gear in videos or pictures. The race scene always is just scraping by, so monetization of video from the races will really help, and steem gets to see all the carnage on camera.
Question If it gets to that level, or to help our community grow to that level, should I be using more than just steemit and dtube? I know i plan to use communities, but i feel like there is so many Dapps that I must be missing some that would help. I guess maybe we could make a token, and use it for contests, or a prize for a race maybe?
