Daily lessons from scam/phishing attempt

in #scam7 years ago

I wanna start early the 2018,being brave and ironical. So, from now on, when I see an interesting scam attempt, I will show it to you.
I was watching this morning one of my emails, and found this one:

Now, Mr Aziz Ousmane Ibrahim, we'll name him Mr A, if not I will become crazy going on in here, has some TOP SECRET informations about his country, and found my email with very less data info.

That is interesting tho, because I use that email for bitcoin, porn and something else like silly games.

Annnnyway, this is the most beautifully written scam email I ever saw in my life, no visible grammar mistakes, nothing wrong, a very detailed situation of the country and of the bank.

Mr A has, in a matter of facts 35 milion dollars to give me, totally secured money and ready to be sent.

I always wonder, if they have so much money why they can't keep them? This is funny to me, because with all the people in africa that needs money, they come to find a random italian(in my case) which, if this was a real offer would take it on the fly(if it is in crypto i would do it immidiately without any chances)

To a colleague of his, I remember back then, I answered this: "Please buy Bitcoins and send it to me".

His answer is been: Bitcoin is unsafe.... yeah

If you like this kind of stuff I will keep going, i have lot of examples.
