Friends thought I went abroad again! Always loved the islands of Fujian,
and this time, the sunset at Dongbi Village was truly beautiful! The colorful houses on the cliffs and the twilight of the sunset on the tidal flats were breathtaking. The inn made me feel like I was dreaming of Santorini!

Located in Dongbi Village, Xiapu County, Ningde City, Fujian Province
✈️ Fly to Fuzhou, drive 1 hour to Xiapu, and then 2 hours to Dongbi
🚄 Take the high-speed rail to Xiapu Station, or drive 20 minutes to Xiapu

1⃣️ Road to the sea: in the alley next to Yi Qi Yi Su, where you can see the most beautiful sunset, very romantic from top to bottom
2⃣️ Sunset in Dongbi Village: the fishing village by the sea and the road to the sea are the best places to watch the sunset
3⃣️ Gaoluo Beach: a beach for watching the sunrise, watching the sun rise from the sea
4⃣️ Seaward Corner: has a road facing the sea and a white castle
5⃣️ Dajing Beach: a very clean white sandy beach!
6⃣️ Danwan: with a viewing platform and a rocky cave, the road is difficult to walk and requires caution
7⃣️ Xiaojing Beach: can watch the sunrise and has a camper camping ground
8⃣️ Xiatou Island: a sunrise viewing spot with unique caves
9⃣️ Lvxia Lighthouse: facing Floating Eagle Island, standing on the seaside lighthouse
🚗 My route:
Depart from Xiapu County, go to Dongbi Village to watch the sunset, then go to Gaoluo Beach, Jishi Viewing Platform, Seaward Castle, Dajing Beach, Danwan Viewing Platform, Xinghe Camper Base, Xiatou Island, and Lvxia Lighthouse.

Local delicacies in Xiapu include sweet potato cups, rice dumplings, octopus, cold sea cucumber salad, noodle soup, fried snails, onion oil minced snails, fried rice noodles, squid, fried abalone, scallion oil razor clams, Fujian-style porridge (a must-try!), drunken shrimp and crab, salt and pepper fish head, salt and pepper shrimp, fried oysters, eight treasures sturgeon rice, and fried seafood vermicelli, all of which are delicious!
