School of Minnows A project we can all get behind and dreview, a chance for steemit to grow more!
A couple months ago I came across a new community project called schoolofminnows. This project was created by @lanmower with the intention to help support newer users on the platform in the form of posts and retweets. I have always been a little skeptical of new projects. It's tough to trust strangers that they will handle your support responsibly and if they are going to stick with the project or just give up. This one caught my eye though and thought it was an ingenious idea, so It was time to get involved in the community.
Project
The basis of this project was to give this community access to a users voting power and when that user is not online and has full voting power, votes would be used to support other school of minnows content. It would only use voting power that would otherwise go to waste. This is to help minnows that might otherwise not get much traction or rewards for their posts. There is much more power in numbers.
I have been a part of this community for a little while now and I think it has been going great. I have meet some great steemit members and have received more support for my posts. I also have read plenty of minnows posts that I otherwise wouldn't have been exposed to.
If you see this post and haven't heard of this project, check it out at @schoolofminnows
The Newest Project
The other day I stumbled upon a couple day old project called @dreview-magazine . Like many of the other steemit projects, dtube, dlive, dmania, etc. This project aims at promoting steemit reviews as there really isn't a good avenue to do that right now. The eventual hope is to create a separate site so steemit reviews can be easily organized, searched and promoted. It's a great idea and something that I think could be really valuable to the community. I myself delegated some sp to the project and will support it as I can. I can imagine this project being a real asset and used by not only the steemcommunity, but many outside it
If you too want to support it, think about delegating a little sp to the project, even if it is just a small amount. also use the tag @dreview
These are only the first two projects I have become a part of and I'm sure there will be more! I would recommend if you haven't gotten into a project in this community, you give it a shot. Meet great people and feel like you are making even more of a contribution to this platform.
Thank you for supporting DReview Magazine! Cheers!
