DO YOU KNOW THE WEIGHT OF YOUR SOUL
Maybe we don’t all feel the same about God but if you do please read this. I do not have a problem with people’s religions.
Everyone has the right to believe just what their life tells them, or what their parents told them. We are born into one or other religion and that is for everyone to decide for himself.
Some people believe in nothing and are atheists. It is very important to respect every person’s religion and his life.
My God says love your neighbour like yourself, so if my neighbour is not a Christian it does not make him a bad person, and I have to love and respect him.
Why am I carrying on about this?
My reason is that I read an article about an experiment that was done. That experiment was in 1907,done by a Doctor Duncan Mac Dougal.
He did an experiment with 6 termanily ill people that he put in special beds. These people were weighed all the time by their beds, so if they sweated or urinated, every single time the weight was recorded and every drop of sweat was measured.
So in a scientific way he wanted to prove that the every person had a sole and the weight of the sole.

Suddenly, coincident with death, the beam end dropped with an audible stroke hitting against the lower limiting bar and remaining there with no rebound. The loss was ascertained to be three-fourths of an ounce.
This happened at the second of death and therefore it was explained that the bodies sole had left it on the second of his death. Dr Mac Dougal also took pictures of the time of a person’s death and says that there was a small light leaving through the brain. There are quite a few places here on the internet that you will find that they say a sole weighs 21 grams. To me it seems like 3 x 7=21 and the number 7 is very important in the bible.
I am no scientist and would not be able to confirm what is said, but to me it seems very likely. We all received the Holy Spirit and this to me is the time it leaves the body. Dr D.Mac Dougal also tried to photograph the soul leaving the body.
It gives me peace of mind that my religion is not wrong for me, because I am a Christian.
To me it is a small confirmation of my belief seeing that it was proven scientifically not that I need proof, I know for a fact that my God gave me a soul.
Many people will disagree but as I said before that is their right just as I have mine.
I am posting this, as to me it is a very intereting science project that was done in the year 1907.
Up to now no one has been able to prove it wrong. So we have the right to come to our own conclusion.
Although he expressed concern that “the soul substance might become [too] agitated” to be photographed at the moment of death, he did manage to perform a dozen experiments in which he photographed “a light resembling that of the interstellar ether” in or around patients’ skulls at the moments they died.
Later on in there was decided that his ideas was done under very crude circumstances, yet no one has proved him wrong and many people still believe it is true today. If you go to google search and ask the weight of the sole it says 21 grams.
Whether this is true or not to me it is, as we must realise that the Holy Spirit was received when The Son of God left earth and then sent the Holy Spirit to earth. This went into every person and has to go back to God as the soul never dies.

I do believe we feel the same about God, and I do believe we will live for eternity. If the soul really weighs 21g is not important to me, for me it id important to know that we do have a soul.

There were subsequent studies by many other doctors and enthusiasts.
The most recent data showed in those studies (sorry i need to look up source and say only from memory what I’ve read) - the weight drops indeed at the time of the death but in a much smaller order of magnitude.
21 grams was never proven. It’s way way too much. There were bug error margines in the mechanical bed centuries ago.
The light was not detected in recent studies.
The electro magnetic changes were detected along with brain activity even after death. Including electro magnetic activity after death. But supposedly powered by chemical reactions of decaying body.
Another small point to mention is that while numbers 3 and 7 are considered important in the Bible and numerology and many occult teachings, it is not related to the 21 grams because at the time of the writing the Bible, nobody was using “grams”, therefore whatever number 21 represents in grams never had any meaning in whatever other units that were used at that time.
21 grams is from presure out of the body is air idiots
Maybe it’s better idea to check some simple physics and biological facts before throwing insults.
Do you realize how much volume is it that would weight 21 grams? I didn’t calculate precisely but my rough idea would be probably 5 gallons or 20 liters!
Do you think that one breath of air is comparable to 20 liters?
Do you think each breath takes in or out 21 grams of air?
Do you think that there is so much pressure that when this pressure is released that the volume of the released air (and other gasses) would be equivalent of 20 liters?
Besides the pressure is not the same as the volume of breath in and breath out because part of that is still not the inside pressure.
Also the measurement says that the jump happened instantly. Body pressure doesn’t jump instantly.
While I’m very skeptical myself about those measurements and the value that was measured, and the methods involved, just throwing insults without maybe checking out a fact or two - would actually help you to uphold your own reputation.

hello @bigbear, I think God told us everything and all facts in his three books torah; bible and last one Quran. all these books came from God to teach us about life. in Islam we believe in Soul and when a person die. just his soul will die and be alive again in the judagment day.. Holy day that day when god will ask us about sins and good deeds and grant each person for what he did in his life. In islam we belive there there is just one life one soul for each person. even voice everyone have his own voice. from begning till today every person has his own voice.
God allmigty created soul and didn't told us what it is exacely. In Quran there is a story told about some jewish people asked the prophte Muhamed peace be upon him and Jesus and Moses, what the soul is. he told that is something just Allah knows. it something from the God.
maybe I born in religious socity and my parentes taught me what to believe. and might other find these facts hard to believe. but sience has proven so many things which were mentioned in Greatest Books Torah, Bible and Quran.
