When and how was the Universe and Earth created?

in #science7 years ago (edited)

Who of us did not ask ourselves: how did all this arise? Scientists argue about it for years. A large group of them think that at the beginning was the Big Bang. Are they right?

The Big Bang theory.

A dozen or so billion years ago the so-called Bing Bang is recognized by some astronomers as the beginning of everything. All matter gathered at a tiny point and exploded. What caused the explosion and where did this huge amount of matter come from in one place? There is no answer to this question, because it is considered that together with Bing Bang time, space and even matter itself arose.

Another theory is that the cause of this explosion was the ever faster centrifugation of the whole matter of the Universe, condensed in a small spot (it is not known from where it was found) and warming it up to very high temperatures. Sounds sensible?

According to the principle of preserving momentum, all the cosmic objects after such an explosion should rotate in the same direction, because there is no friction in the vacuum. Why, does Venus and Uranus turn in the opposite direction to Earth? How to explain the existence of Jupiter, Saturn or Neptune moons spinning in both directions?

According to the theory of Edwin Hubbel [wikipedia] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hubble%27s_law) The Universe is expanding. I found interesting verses in the Bible:

21 Have you not known? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood from the foundations of the earth?
22 It is He who sits above the circle of the earth, And its inhabitants are like grasshoppers, Who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, And spreads them out like a tent to dwell in.

Isaiah 40, 21-22

7 He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.
Job 26, 7

The authors of the Old Testament books did not send rockets into space and did not have telescopes like NASA has today. Where do these random sentences come from?

Bing Bang, are you Sirius?

Sirius is the brightest star in the sky wikipedia. It is counted among the so-called red giants wikipedia. Some astronomers say that the process of the transformation of a red giant into a star shining with white light lasts for hundreds of millions of years wikipedia.

Meanwhile, Ptolemy, Seneca the Younger and Cicero, who lived only about two thousand years ago, wrote about Red Sirius. Today we can observe that it is a white star.

Is the Earth 4.5 billion years old?

Isotopic dating is how the age of the planet is estimated. Where does this number come from? In Mexico, the remains of the Allende meteorite were found, which were thoroughly examined. It was found that it is the material from which the planets formed. The problem is that radiometric measurements gave different dates for different parts of the meteorite. Some scientists question the assumption of a constant rate of radioactive decay, and thus undermine this method of study.

Astronomers have calculated that the Moon moves away about 4 cm from Earth every year. According to Newton's law of universal gravitation [wikipedia] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newton%27s_law_of_universal_gravitation) we have to question the 4.5 billionth century of the Earth, because the distance between the third planet and the Sun, and its natural satellite is too small.

The Earth's magnetic field has weakened by several percent over the last 100 years. Assuming a similar dynamics of decline, we can exclude several _ billion life_ on our planet. Much stronger magnetic field would increase the temperature enough to evaporate all the water from Earth.

The speed of rotation of our planet is decreasing. In order to synchronize the solar time with the Earth's rotational movement, even a leap second was introduced [wikipedia] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leap_second). A few billion years ago, the planet would have been spinning so fast that it would have completely different laws of physics.

The Earth's age was also investigated in Antarctica and Greenland using an ice drill machine. Researchers drill a hole in the ice and investigate the central part of the drilling. In summer, some of the snow melts, and in the winter freezes and stops air bubbles. This causes that summer snow has a dark color, and winter snow light. Thus cross-sectional samples of such boreholes alternately show white and black stripes. Researchers counted these alternating layers to see how many years passed. One of the boreholes was as much as 3,000 meters deep. 135,000 bands were added. So, how old is Earth? The problem is that it does not have to be annual bands. Within 365 days, snow can melt and freeze several or several dozen times, and thus such a white and black layer in the well's cross-section can mean a year, a month or even a day.

The Grand Canyon

Is this the best proof of the earth's several billion-century age?

Hoover Dam.

In 1983, the melting of heavy snowfall caused a high risk of overflowing the dam. To prevent this, drainage tunnels have been opened. Along with the water flowing out under huge pressure, large blocks of concrete began to be thrown away. After closing the tunnel, damage was examined. The reinforced concrete walls contained several meters of holes. The largest of them was 10 meters deep, 45 meters long and 12 meters wide.

This shows that the Grand Canyon did not have to be hollowed out for several million years. All you need is a very large amount of water and huge pressure. The explanation of the shape of the Colorado River's canyon may be the flood described in the Bible.

10 And it came to pass after seven days that the waters of the flood were on the earth.
11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep were broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

Genesis 7, 10-11

Another question that arises is: where is the sediment from the erosion of the 320-kilometer Grand Canyon through the 2330-km-long river? In the Nile delta, sediments reach places of several dozen meters.

Or maybe all started around 6,000 years ago?

1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1, 1

Curiosity - The word Universe comes from the Latin: Uni - single and verse - spoken sentence.

Does the Bible state the age of the Earth? On the sixth day God created Adam. The word day is not given here figuratively, but as a day. Then, based on numerous descriptions in the Bible, we can roughly determine how many years have passed since individual events.

5 So all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.
Genesis 5,5

29 So all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years; and he died.
Genesis 9, 29

The first people lived so long.

10 So David rested with his fathers, and was buried in the City of David.
11 The period that David reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and in Jerusalem he reigned thirty-three years.

1 Kings 2, 10-11

In the Bible, we also find numerous genealogies, e.g.

1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of Abraham:
2 Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his brothers.
3 Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot Hezron, and Hezron begot Ram.
4 Ram begot Amminadab, Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot Salmon.
5 Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse,
6 and Jesse begot David the king.David the king begot Solomon by her who had been the wife of Uriah.
7 Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa.
8 Asa begot Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah.
9 Uzziah begot Jotham, Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah.
10 Hezekiah begot Manasseh, Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah.
11 Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers about the time they were carried away to Babylon.
12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jeconiah begot Shealtiel, and Shealtiel begot Zerubbabel.
13 Zerubbabel begot Abiud, Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor.
14 Azor begot Zadok, Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud.
15 Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob.
16 And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is called Christ.
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, from David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations.

Matthew 1, 1-17

Charles Townes [wikipedia] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_H._Townes) Nobel laureate in the field of physics claimed that the longer we examine the cosmos or biology, the harder it is not to notice the aspects of intelligent design in them. And how do you feel?

First of all; thank you for your sharing. i think there are a lot of secret in creation. And there are a lot of keys of creation in holy books.(Not classical way)

hello... i upvoted your blog and kindly upvote my blog as well...

Religion and theories are telling they are right both. Look at what you really think and whoever or ehatever made them, let's be happy with it and full our heart with joy.

Another unasked question is, "Into what did the expansion go?" If the speck that was to become the universe (singularity) exploded and expanded, it had to expand into some larger space--- something outside of the universe. As with theories about infinite regression (everything came from something else and there was no true beginning), it answers nothing but simply moves the goal posts to places and times that cannot be observed. Thus, by definition, it cannot be a scientific theory.

Awesome informative post :)
