Fabric Manufacturing Technique in Textile Industries
Fabric manufacturing is a process in which yarn is converted into fabric with their interlacement on Looming machine by passing through several parts. Mechanism of Fabric manufacturing is to interlace warp and weft yarns with each other.
There are two important terms in Fabric manufacturing process; First term is Weft & Second is Warp.
Warp yarns are those yarns which are passed on the loom and they are usually sized yarns.
Weft yarns are those yarns which are interlaced between the warp yarns cross wise. It means that sized beam of yarn runs on the looming machine and weft is inserted in 90 degree angle with the help of shuttles, air or water.
Fabric manufacturing process is also called weaving because final product of fabric manufacturing is weaved fabric which is also called woven fabric (fabric, having specific alignment of weft and warp yarns). Finally yarns are connected or joined together to prepare a final weaved fabric which is taken on a beam which is then transferred to the next process of pretreatment to remove dust and dirt particles, to remove color contamination and to impart some properties in it.
